Caracas will host the first binational coffee congress

Producers from Venezuela and Colombia will participate in the first Binational Coffee Congress, which will be held on June 20 and 21 at the Chacao Cultural Center, for specialists in cultivation, production and marketing.

According to the Colombian ambassador to Venezuela, Milton Rengifo, this is not a fair, but rather a strategic epicenter for businessmen, entrepreneurs, coffee growers and baristas.

Attendees, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), will be able to present the process of production, innovation, new technologies and commercialization, with a vision for binational trade.

The diplomat also indicated that the program will serve to boost the economy around a product that is consumed by millions of people.

Rengifo stated that they plan to create a good space for the transmission of knowledge, as well as for analysis so that new initiatives emerge that consolidate the economic line.
