President in Charge appointed Nelson Rodríguez as head of the Minister for Ecosocialism

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, appointed Nelson Rodríguez as the new Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism and president of the National Park Institute (INPARQUES) this Monday, June 15.

On her Telegram channel, the president in charge stated that Rodríguez is a “professional with extensive experience in public administration and in the areas of strategic planning, as well as in the management of forest use, protection and conservation of the environment.”

“He now assumes the responsibility of developing and strengthening public policies for the protection of our Pachamama and comprehensive environmental care,” he said.

He also expressed his gratitude “to Freddy Ñáñez for his performance in the management of this Office”.
