The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, this Monday, June 15, decorated the legal and diplomatic team that exercises the Homeland Defense of Guiana Essequiba, with the Order of Liberators and Liberators of Venezuela in its three classes.
At the event held at the Miraflores Palace, the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil; the representative of the State, Larry Devoe; the Attorney General, Arianny Seijo, as well as the former prosecutor Reinaldo Muñoz; the diplomat Jorge Reyes and the ambassador to France, Samuel Moncada, were decorated, among others.
The Presidential Press review highlights that the historical research team managed to collect more than 3,000 pages with solid documentary evidence, which irrefutably demonstrates before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) the nullity of the fraudulent Arbitral Award of Paris of 1899 and ratifies the absolute validity of the Geneva Agreement of 1966.
During this day, the work of the Venezuelan delegation was highlighted in the recent oral hearings in The Hague, based on the binding mandate of the Consultative Referendum of December 03, 2023.
