The rehabilitation of the Tomás Vicente González Educational Unit, in the Caricuao parish, continues to advance for the welfare of the 600 students who are trained in that campus, said the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez.
He indicated that the Urban Control Brigades are in charge of the work, which includes the change of roof, as well as the painting of the external and internal areas and the trellis. The installation required the intervention of the walls affected by the double earthquake, as well as the general recovery of the infrastructure and furniture.
Meléndez highlighted that this educational center is part of the hundred schools integrated into the recovery plan within the framework of the Venezuela Renace Plan. “And we are still working so that this September 14th the children and young people of Caracas return to their classrooms with great joy,” said the mayor.
