Chancellor Gil calls for exploring alternatives to the “voracity” of capitalism on World Earth Day

When World Earth Day was celebrated this Wednesday, April 22,
the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil,
emphasized the urgency of replacing the capitalist system to guarantee the salvation of the planet.
“World Earth Day is not simply a
celebration, but a call to reflection on our
collective responsibility to protect biodiversity,” said the Venezuelan diplomat
through his social networks.
He stressed that this date represents “an opportunity to
move together towards concrete initiatives that reduce pollution,
promote resource savings and promote conscious consumption”, so
he emphasized that “it is urgent to continue exploring alternatives that counteract the voracity of the capitalist system”.
