Chávez Gigante: We are determined to be free, there will be no imperialism to stop us!

On June 19, 2010, from the state of Lara, Commander Hugo Chávez alerted the Venezuelan people to what he defined as an “economic war” declared by the national bourgeoisie and world capitalism.

“They have declared economic war on us. I have accepted them and I call on the People, the workers, the Armed Forces, everyone, to unite to wage the war declared to us by the Venezuelan bourgeoisie, which has no homeland or soul. We are going to defeat them and the Revolution from these economic struggles will emerge much stronger and they will emerge much weaker,” said the Supreme Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.

Commander Chávez pointed out that the world bourgeoisie attacks from all sides “and they threaten Venezuela, but we are determined to be free, there will be no imperialism to stop us.”
