Chávez Invicto: The day when all South Americans crow like one rooster they will respect us

Commander Hugo Chávez urged strengthening regional unity in the face of external threats and reaffirmed Venezuela's support for the Bolivian people in defense of their dignity and independence.

During his speech, the president stressed that “the day we, all South Americans, sing like a single rooster, they will respect us, eh? , they will respect us, that's the secret, the day we speak with one voice, the powerful of the world will respect us,” Chávez said on September 11, 2008 from Carabobo state.

Chávez warned about the context of the global economic and political crisis, and called for maintaining mobilization in the streets as a guarantee of national defense, while reaffirming the country's commitment to building socialism and the dignity of peoples.
