From the Legislative Palace, on November 23, 2010, the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, emphasized that in the face of the imperial threat, we must respond by radicalizing, adjusting positions, consolidating the pace and consolidating revolutionary unity.

Chávez insisted that the Bolivarian Revolution should not loosen anything. “The American empire is a failed state that acts beyond international laws,” he said.

“The American State respects absolutely nothing and also feels entitled to do so. It is the greatest threat facing the planet today,” Chávez said.

He stated that in the face of the greatest threat to our Peoples, “What do we have left? unity, unity and more unity.”

“We cannot allow them to call us the stupid Revolution or that political parties, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), personalities of the counterrevolution continue to be financed with millions and millions of dollars from the Yankee empire,” he said.

Chávez added that Venezuelans cannot allow them to violate their Constitution or laws to try to destabilize the country.

“There should be no room in our civil or military ranks for half-measures, no, a single line, radicalizing the Revolution and that must be felt by this rude stateless bourgeoisie,” he said.
