Chávez to the teachers: You never forget them!

“Teacher's Day is a beautiful day, a day you never forget,” said Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez on January 15, 2006 from the Miraflores Palace in Caracas.

Chávez congratulated all the teachers in Venezuela in his day, at the same time he assured that “you never forget your teachers.”

“Teachers are dedicated, humble people, who dedicate their whole lives to the classroom, to the book, to preparing the subjects, to being from child to child, caring for them like children, dedicating themselves with care,” he said.

The Commander sent congratulations to his father (Hugo de Los Reyes), “teacher and friend, and to all the teachers in Venezuela, to teacher Aristobulo, to teacher Moncada, to the ministers who are teachers, my congratulations”.
