Chávez Undefeated: Fear of empire is the dignity that moves us

Commander Hugo Chávez, during an event held at the Teresa Carreño Theater, urged the Peoples of Latin America not to allow their future to be taken away again, in reference to the historic aggressions of US imperialism against sovereign governments in the region.

“The fear of empire is the dignity that moves us and the example of humanism that we give to the world,” Chávez said on June 14, 2006 from the Teresa Carreño Theater.

He called for historical awareness and collective action: “We cannot allow our future to be stolen again, we cannot allow our future to be curtailed again.”
