In an emotional message, Commander Hugo Chávez expressed his determination in the face of the medical treatment he must face in Havana, assuring that he will do so with discipline and strength.

The revolutionary leader also evoked Alberto Arvelo Torrealba's poem as a symbol of his will to return and continue the anti-imperialist struggle.
