Chávez Undefeated: If the right wing won, the real government of Venezuela would be in Washington

Commander Hugo Chávez pointed out that if the right came to power again, the real one who would govern would be the North American empire.

“They wouldn't send themselves. No, like the other governments, their masters, the real government of Venezuela would be in Washington, from there they would dictate Venezuelan economic policy, from there they would dictate Venezuela's international politics,” he said January 10, 2009 from the state of Guárico.

He stressed that during the Fourth Republic , Democratic Action and Copei, the country was divided in two every five years, where members of both parties came out rich while the people suffered the consequences.

“'You steal five years and then we change. ' 'Steal five, and then I'll come back. Did you hear? ' 'A little for you, a little for me'. 'And the town? Nothing pal' people! Misery'”, he said.
