On June 11, 2012, Commander Hugo Chávez assured that “the true patriot must feel the homeland in his own gut”.

‎El leader mentioned the members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) who today are identified and “assuming their role with the People in this story”.

‎Asimismo, reiterated the commitment to continue winning to give life and health to the Bolivarian homeland, to national independence, to Bolivarian Socialism, to the People of Venezuela.
