Chávez Undefeated: The United States thinks they own the world

On May 2, 2004, during the 190th edition of the Aló Presidente program, Commander Hugo Chávez denounced the United States' claim to establish itself as “masters of the world”, giving itself powers to judge other nations while ignoring their own internal crises.

“They themselves claim that imperial power because they want to be the masters of the world,” he said, referring to the State Department report that described the Venezuelan Government as complacent with terrorism.

He called for alert to the imperialist actions of Americans who do not recognize that Venezuela has decided to be free.
