Chávez Undefeated: This People has proven to be capable of confronting the destabilization of the Homeland

On December 9, 2012, the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, highlighted the conscience of the Venezuelan People, who have demonstrated on several occasions that they are “capable of confronting conspiracies, destabilizing movements, from outside, from within.” In that sense, from the Miraflores Palace, he emphasized the trust he had in the People and in our Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), which are fundamental pillars of the Revolution. “When a Revolution sprang up here and we, as soldiers, were, have been and must live up to that Revolution. I clearly trusted this People (...) And I am confident in the soldiers of our Armed Forces, one of the fundamental pillars of this Revolution,” said the Commander. For this reason, he emphasized that today, as did the Liberator Simon Bolivar, “it is up to an entire people to preserve their dignity, their order, their glory. But within that people, first of all, it is up to the soldiers, so that this Homeland (...) will never be humiliated, as it was for so many years”.
