Chávez Undefeated: We are going to turn Venezuela into a country capable of defending every last millimeter of its territory

Commander Hugo Chávez, on October 21, 2009, from the Miraflores Palace, called on all the “bodies of the country” to organize the militia.

He also rejected the accusations of the right wing regarding State decisions , while assuring that in Venezuela everything is done “on the basis of the laws, the Constitution.”

He explained that the nation has “no plans to attack anyone, but we are going to turn Venezuela into a country capable of defending every last millimeter of its territory, that no one comes to mess with us, and for that reason participation is very important, the participation of the people, the students.”
