Chávez undefeated: We don't want war, but we are preparing to defend ourselves

From Panama, on June 22, 2006, Commander Hugo Chávez warned about the great communicational power of the North American empire, through which they are orchestrated through the media against the Bolivarian Revolution.

“That is hate, because it is about sowing hatred and confusion (...) This, quite simply, is the preparation for an invasion of Venezuela, they are preparing the people of the United States and they are, well, attacking to weaken us, to isolate us,” he warned.

In that regard, he warned that Venezuelans “don't want war, but we are preparing to defend ourselves.”
