Chávez warned about imperialism: They have a great machinery for their psychological warfare

On June 22, 2006, the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez Frías, denounced that imperialism has a great communication machine to implement its psychological war and prepare the ground for an invasion of any territory.

In addition, the Commander asserted that the objective of this video game, which simulates an invasion of Venezuela, was to prepare the people of the United States and try to attack our country to weaken and isolate it.

“Now, they are preparing the ground, they are preparing. We don't want war, but we are preparing to defend ourselves, we are preparing to defend ourselves. That's why I said video games, movies, news, television, radio, the written press and not only there but in all these countries they have their lackeys, they have their media, televisions, radios, newspapers, which millions and millions hear and read every day. It's part of that campaign,” he said.
