Civil Protection denied the rescue of survivors in Caraballeda on July 23 (+statement)

The National Directorate of Civil Protection and Disaster Management denied the news released this morning of July 23 “about alleged rescues of survivors in the OPPP 26 structure in the Caraballeda parish”.
Through the letter, the institution pointed out that such information is “totally false” and urged the population and the media not to replicate rumors that play with the hope of Venezuelan families.”
He also reiterated his commitment to remain deployed in the field “full time”, “we will not rest or stop search and rescue work until we exhaust the last possible route in the affected area.”
