CNAC Commission defined agenda to promote national cinematography

The National Cinematography Plan commission made progress in defining a consensus agenda to establish the next policies in the audiovisual sector, during a meeting at which different strategic lines for the development of the country's cinematographic activity were reviewed.

Among the aspects addressed, the comprehensive updating of the Cinematographic Registry stood out, as well as the incorporation of active and permanent union participation in the different stages of the planning process.

The meeting also made it possible to establish a timetable for the execution of the planned goals, with the purpose of organizing the actions that will guide the commission's work in the area of film policies.

During the meeting, the president of the National Autonomous Cinematography Center (CNAC), Román Chamorro, also announced the addition of filmmaker Solveig Hoogesteijn to the working body, with the participation of creators Efterpi Charalambidis, Iván Zambrano, Miguel Guédez and José Antonio Varela.
