The National Electoral Council (CNE), in its commitment to ensuring transparency and access to information, has implemented a strategic digital tool aimed at citizens who will participate in the first National Popular Consultation of 2026, which will take place on March 8.
The consultation system is now fully operational. With this innovation, voters can immediately verify the exact location of their voting center corresponding to their communal circuit.
The activation of this platform emerges as a strategy to optimize logistics and guarantee the right to vote. The digital system also allows interested parties to validate their data quickly, to avoid confusion about the geographical distribution of the tables on the day of the event.
In this consultation, citizens will be able to vote on community projects that will receive direct funding from the State. Special emphasis will be placed on the Transformation I and Transformation II programs, focused on local productive enterprises and projects and infrastructure works, services and habitat improvements.
