From the state of Zulia, on July 13, 2008, Commander Hugo Chávez condemned the disinformation campaigns launched to manipulate the People against the Revolution.

“Last year the campaign against the referendum was that, every day, radio, press, television, a people under fire, Fidel said in those days, it is the Venezuelan people, a media bombardment, but tremendous and terrible, on the internet, on the phones; now that they send messages, by the millions, that Chávez will take away from him if the constitution is amended, he will take away his parental authority, as they did in Cuba, that they are going to take away his housing, no one will have ownership over the housing, not on vehicles, or anything, children take it to the army at fifteen and after so much repetition, there are people who get scared,” he recalled.

The greatest revolutionary leader assured that there is a crisis of ideas in capitalism, so he invited us to be prepared for dialogue in favor of socialism.
