Commander Chávez: The enemies of the Fatherland will always be defeated by the force of the People

On May 13, 2003, the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez Frías, emphasized the strength of this People to continue defeating the plans of the enemies of the Fatherland.

“Let us be sure that whatever plan the enemies of the country launch against Venezuela, they will be defeated by the strength of the people, they will be defeated by the combative morale of our people in any terrain, in any terrain they will be defeated”, emphasized the Commander from Las Salinas, Zulia state.

He emphasized that this people had been subjected to what no country “had never been subjected in centuries (...) after the April coup defeated by the people, defeated by the country's military, after the horrible act of destabilization and sabotage and oil, media and economic terrorism (...) the plan was much more elaborate, perversely elaborated, but we still defeated them”.

In the same way, he recalled the words of the Father of the Fatherland, Simon Bolivar: “Justice, justice must be the queen of all republican virtues, the queen of the republic must be justice.” For this reason, he reaffirmed that “without justice there is no republic, without justice there is no peace possible, without justice you cannot live in society, without justice a country cannot advance, well it can move towards chaos, towards disintegration and even towards war”.
