From the state of Zulia, the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, on March 13, 2011, during the development of the program Aló Presidente #371, highlighted the moment when the German Foreign Ministry expressed its disagreement with the warlike actions of the United States (USA).

“The German chancellery has said that it does not agree with what the United States is proposing. What is the United States proposing? A war! An invasion of Libya! They want Libyan oil over a million dead, they don't care about anything else. Because they wanted Venezuelan oil here, on April 11 and 12, and they're still making plans to take Venezuela, in any way, for better or for worse, as their spokespersons say here,” he said.

In this regard, he stressed that the Spaniards have been a little more cautious, the Portuguese too, “much more cautious”, “because the war here in North Africa could happen to Europe, it's right there, as it happened in the Second World War. Ah! But, the United States has no fear because it is beyond the ocean, see? , they have their own internal conflicts there.”

“How much did UNASUR cost? How many campaigns to try to discredit! What if it was the Chávez project, the Bolivarian Revolutionary Project of Evo Morales, etc. No, no, it's the union of South America, respecting our differences, there are right-wing governments, there are left-wing governments; some more on the left, others less so, but here we are in South America,” added the Bolivarian leader.
