Commander Chávez: We will not allow any foreign Armed Forces to set foot on our territory!

On December 28, 2009, Commander Hugo Chávez Frías reaffirmed, in the face of the threat of North American imperialism and its lackeys, that Venezuela does not support and much less will allow “the presence of any strange Armed Forces in our territory other than the glorious Bolivarian Armed Forces and its popular militias.”

In that sense, from the state of Zulia, he emphasized that in Venezuela “there will be peace, we will not fall into provocations, I am the first to say it (...) we are obliged to prepare ourselves more and better every day for the defense of our Homeland”.

He pointed out that if only imperialism and its lackeys would not dare to do something against Venezuela. “Hopefully they don't dare, but if they dared, they will repent for 500 years; 500 years would last for the Colombian bourgeoisie and the empire, and for the Lacayan bourgeoisie that is here in Venezuela as a fifth column, daring, if they dare, if they dare,” he said,
