Commander Chávez: We will not allow strange forces in our territory, there will be peace here!

On December 28, 2009, the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez Frías, stated that our Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) would not allow any foreign force to undermine the sovereignty and peace of our territory.

“I clarify once again that our government neither supports, nor allows, nor will it support, nor will it allow the presence of any stranger in our territory other than the glorious Bolivarian Armed Forces and its popular militias. Rest assured that there will be peace here, we will not fall into provocations,” he emphasized from the state of Zulia.

He emphasized that in the face of provocations from the United States (USA), Venezuela was obliged to prepare for the defense of the Homeland. “Hopefully they don't dare, but if they dare, they're going to regret it for 500 years (...) as long as our enemies try to destabilize us, we have to keep moving forward,” he said.

He reaffirmed that Venezuela would always follow the path of peace. “I confirm the luminous thought of (Simon) Bolívar, peace is our port, peace is our destiny, we are here to build in peace the homeland of the future,” he said.
