The Commander of Integral Aerospace Defense, José Luis Tremont Jiménez, reported that three aircraft were neutralized as part of Operation Vuelvan Caras 200, two in Apure and one in Amazonas.
During a live broadcast with the
Sectorial Vice President of Defense and Sovereignty, Vladimir Padrino López, from the Bolivarian Military
University of Venezuela (UMBV), as part of the relaunch of the Great Black Mission First, Tremont Jiménez explained that two
of the neutralized
aircraft were in the Rómulo Gallegos municipality of Apure and one in the Autana municipality of Amazonas.
He also indicated that a clandestine runway and 3000 liters of fuel of the type A1 jet were destroyed. “With these 3, we arrived at 411 neutralized aircraft, which are linked to transnational crime, thus demonstrating that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces are fighting a head-on and relentless battle against drug trafficking” in our territory, he said.
He confirmed that the nation's comprehensive defense system remains active, alert, raising the level of operational readiness to ensure constant surveillance of Venezuelan airspace.
