With the firm intention of consolidating the country's infrastructure and digital ecosystem, the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) held a new day this Friday, August 21, to award qualifying certificates, modifications and operational renovations to telecommunications service providers.

The process of receiving documentation, reported CONATEL on its website, was carried out in parallel through the institution's digital and administrative channels.

Through the CONATEL Telecommunications Management System (SIGESTEL), 42 new grants and 2 renewals were formalized, boosting automation and efficiency in the Commission's procedures.

19 amendments, a renewal, a new grant and a termination of the general concession were also approved through regular administrative channels.

These administrative actions legalize the operation, commercialization and expansion of key services such as high-speed Internet, data transport, data management and subscription television systems using advanced IPTV/OTT technologies, boosting investment and democratizing access to networks.

With this decision, the Commission not only promotes the entry of new competitors to the domestic market, but also allows consolidated companies to update their technical and legal variables to raise the quality of service to the end user.

The approval of these administrative titles confirms CONATEL's strategic role in building a transparent regulatory environment focused on ensuring technological transformation, digital sovereignty of the nation and ensuring access to telecommunications for all Venezuelans.
