The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) reports that, due to a fault in the 30 MVA power transformer No. 2 located in the Concordia 115/34.5/13.8 kV Substation in the state of Táchira, there is an effect on the Southern circuit, which powers the El Piñal (Táchira state) and El Nula (Apure state) substations.

In this regard, CORPOELEC highlighted in a statement that load redistribution and alternability maneuvers are being carried out to mitigate interruption times, culminating in the assembly of the transformer that will replace the damaged equipment, tasks that will be completed in the coming days.

This possibility is being addressed immediately by the CORPOELEC workforce to correct the fault and normalize the service that provides electricity to the different sectors of the area.
