Day of Love and Loyalty to Commander Chávez: 13 Years of Unity, Struggle, Battle and Victory

On December 8, 2012, the Venezuelan people witnessed the last proclamation of Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez, where, knowing the difficult horizons that the Homeland would cross, he called for the Unity, Struggle, Battle and Victory of the revolutionary forces.
“At the rumor of Clarines Guerrero, the armoured one happens, it happens quickly, with jealous steel dragons that guard the Fatherland, that heaven gave us, homeland, dear homeland yours is my sky, yours is my sun, homeland, yours is my life, yours is my soul, yours is my love”, was the song that this Giant sang to demonstrate his love for this nation and its people to whom he dedicated his life with total dedication to the point of pointing out the direction he should take in the event of his physical absence.
“... if something were to happen, I repeat, that disqualified me in any way, Nicolás Maduro, not only in that situation must the term end, as required by the Constitution; but my firm opinion, as full as the full Moon, irrevocable, absolute, total, is that—in that scenario that would force presidential elections to be convened as required by the Constitution— you should elect Nicolás Maduro as president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela . I ask them from my heart,” he ordered that night, which was the beginning of the new phase of the Bolivarian Revolution.
Thirteen years after this message, the Bolivarian, Chavista, revolutionary and socialist people reaffirm their loyalty and love to this Giant who, with its infinite strength, continues to guide the destinies of this land, remembering that “today we have the country more alive than ever, burning in a sacred flame, in a sacred fire”.
