Defense Minister denounces presence of US spy plane in La Orchila

The Minister of the People's Power of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, during the presentation of the Balance of Operation Republic 2025, denounced the imperialist maneuvers to destabilize the elections of this July 27 through the use of aircraft to violate the physical space of operation of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) as well as National Sovereignty.

“Doing the job of safeguarding our sovereignty in maritime areas, in sovereign border areas, we detected an intelligence aircraft of the type RC 135 of the United States Air Force, which was tracked 80 miles more or less north of La Orchila, that is, a spy plane, an intelligence aircraft, which presented a flight plan that is very rare, not in them, because they do not present a Flight Plan, they do not respect any authority in the entire world,” said the Sectorial Vice President of Defense and Sovereignty.

He added that although the United States is used to doing this, “we reject it, we reject the superior, supremacist Imperial position, which does not respect the rules or the global rule of law in safe areas for aircraft navigation in our region.”
