Defense Minister: Those who have called for invasions against our country ceased to be Venezuelans

The spokespersons of the extreme right who have dedicated themselves to calling for invasions against our country, as their way of doing politics, are no longer Venezuelans because they have renounced their nationality, said Defense Minister, G/J Vladimir Padrino López.

“That tiny, minority, fascist, subversive faction of the opposition that intends to do politics by calling for invasions no longer exist for us, they stopped being Venezuelans. They themselves lost their nationality,” he said during the presentation of the balance sheet of the new senior deployment of the FANB within the framework of the Sovereignty 200 exercises.

In this regard, the senior military official assured that nearly 99% of Venezuelans and the peoples of the world reject that our country can be militarily attacked by North American imperialism.

“There is unanimous worldwide rejection of imperialist aggression and of the United States' claim to remain the world's policeman. We here in Venezuela stand firm with the Bolivarian ideology of independence, freedom and full sovereignty for our people,” he said.

In the same way, he stressed that the people of Venezuela are peace-loving but, if an aggression occurred, they would rise up in defense of our territory. “Go through the streets, barracks, communes, communal militia units and there you will see a people determined to defend this homeland,” he stressed.
