The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced during an interview with the Spanish journalist Javier Negre that the country is at an advanced stage after the negotiation of strategic agreements in the field of hydrocarbons.

“Right now we are negotiating 30 agreements, no longer memorandums of understanding, but negotiating the agreements that will allow those investments to begin to arrive in the country,” Rodríguez said.

Unlike previous memorandums of understanding, the National President specified that these instruments represent concrete commitments and that the year 2027 will be decisive for the economic momentum and growth of Venezuela.

“I have no doubt that next year, the year 2027, will be a year of great momentum, of economic growth due to its external revenues from investments that are taking place in hydrocarbons,” said the Head of State.

Rodríguez stressed that these negotiations are the basis of an optimistic projection for the immediate future. “The inflow of foreign capital derived from these alliances will make it possible to energize the domestic economy, strengthening foreign revenues and consolidating the recovery of the oil industry as one of the fundamental pillars for the well-being of the Nation,” he explained.

Oil production capacity

Regarding current operating capacity, the President highlighted the resilience and effort of the industry, reporting a daily production of 1 million 200 thousand barrels.

“Our production has once again reached one million 200 thousand barrels. We expect to close the year with a production close to One Million 400 thousand barrels. So everything has been kept up. This recovery process can translate into us being able to improve the income of the country's workers, which can be translated into concrete benefits,” said the Head of State.

According to Rodríguez, this figure, achieved in a context of transformation and new forms of negotiation, demonstrates the country's capacity to respond to global challenges and confirms the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to optimize the exploitation of its natural resources under standards of efficiency and international competitiveness.
