In a deployment of government management from the Guaraira Repano Urban Complex in Mariperez Norte, in the capital city, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led a new day of home delivery this Tuesday, reaffirming the State's commitment to the constitutional right to housing.
During the event, Rodríguez emphasized that the housing policy of the Bolivarian Revolution broke with the old paradigms of the traditional real estate market. “April 30, 2001 is an act of social justice. It changed that vision, that perspective of housing as a commercial good. It is not a commercial good. It's a space, it's the habitat and shaping the human city for the happiness of the Venezuelan people,” said the president in charge.
As part of the delivery of 428 housing units in the urban development, the president in charge made an important announcement aimed at strengthening the legal security of the beneficiary families. He reported that, through the Patria Platform, a special registry is being created for those awarded the Great Venezuela Housing Mission (GMVV).
“I have called for simplifying all the bureaucratic-administrative procedures of the Venezuelan State. We are going to organize the files so that all the beneficiaries have their property title,” Rodríguez said, formally delivering his documents to citizens such as the beneficiary Darío González, stressing that this is an articulated effort between the National Government, the Mayor's Office of Caracas and the Government of the Capital District.
The day was extended through a satellite pass to the state of Bolivar, where the Minister of Ecological Mining Development and Basic Industries, Héctor Silva, led the delivery of 80 homes for workers of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guiana (CVG) and military personnel.
Rodríguez took the opportunity to send a message of gratitude to the basic business workforce: “My recognition to basic business workers for all their performance and contribution to the national economy.”
In Ciudad Bolívar, the director of the River and Riverside School, the beneficiary of one of the housing units with his family, expressed his gratitude, highlighting the continuity of the Bolivarian project: “We feel happy because the revolution is moving forward. The legacy continues to guarantee happiness.”
In this way, the Bolivarian Government celebrates 15 years of the strategic vision that gave rise to these housing institutions, consolidating a model of “participatory and leading” organization that prioritizes the well-being of children, women, the elderly and the Venezuelan family in general.
