Delcy Rodríguez reiterated thanks to the UN for supporting families affected by the earthquakes

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reiterated this Thursday her gratitude to the United Nations System for its support to the population affected by the devastating earthquakes that occurred in the country on June 24.

Through her Telegram channel, the president in charge recalled that this Wednesday she met with the resident coordinator of the United Nations (UN) in Venezuela, Gianluca Rampolla, and with his work team, to evaluate actions of the recovery and assistance plan after the double earthquake.

“I am grateful for the support of the United Nations System to the affected families. With solidarity, coordination and joint work, we are making progress in the reconstruction of the impacted areas,” he said.
