During an inspection of the First Black Socioproductive and Training Center in Sarria, the President in Charge, Delcy Rodríguez, asserted that the communal economy is consolidated as a fundamental pillar for territorial development and supply of the country.
During the day, Rodríguez highlighted the role of the new generations in socially based productive projects: “What I am most happy about is seeing young people at the forefront of this socio-productive project.”
He stressed that for years young people have been trained in making bread and pastries. “The First Black Socioproductive and Training Center is thus consolidated as a model of youth training, community promotion and economic inclusion for the communities of the capital.”
He also stated that communal production has a direct impact on the family pocket, by cutting speculative marketing chains. “The communal economy is the solution for local territorial development and the strengthening of the productive capacities of each area,” he emphasized.
The President in Charge explained that public purchasing policy promotes national agribusiness and, therefore, promotes the productive development of the nation through a diversified economy.
In this regard, he asked the sectors of the communes and entrepreneurship to work to strengthen the export of items in order to promote “what has been done in Venezuela”.
The tour included a visit to the center's textile unit, which is currently contracted by the Ministry of Popular Power for National Trade within the framework of the School Plan.
