Delcy Rodríguez: The State's priority is to accompany people who are in the camps

Delcy Rodríguez ratifies the State's full deployment to care for families affected by earthquakes

During a tour of the Qatar State Field Hospital in Caracas, the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that the State's priority is the direct support of people who are in temporary camps.

“The Venezuelan State is integrated as a single team to address the greatest vulnerabilities. The people who live in the localities that suffered the double earthquake are impacted, our women, our children, our grandparents, that's why they need to feel that the government is with them,” he said.

He stated that the Venezuelan Government is active at all levels, local, regional and national. “We are all integrated as one country, as one State to address the greatest vulnerabilities,” he said.

He stressed that the camps not only guarantee a roof for people who lost their homes, but also a balanced diet with protein, vegetables, fruits, as well as health care, recreation and education for children and children.

“We have incorporated productive activities into the camps, an enterprise within the same camp, so that it becomes a space for community life,” he added.

The President in Charge was accompanied on the tour by His Excellency Mr. Salman Nabit Mubarak Abdullah Al-Khulaifi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Venezuela, together with a ministerial delegation composed of the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil; the Minister of Health, Carlos Alvarado, and the Deputy Ministers Oliver Blanco and Andrea Corao.
