Delcy Rodríguez: Through my veins flows the blood of an indigenous woman (+International Day)

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, celebrated the International Day of Indigenous Women this Saturday, praising their wisdom and love for the land.

“The blood of an indigenous woman runs through my veins. On her International Day, I salute our original women, guardians of the memory, identity and ancestral strength of our peoples,” said the president through her social networks.

He stressed that “their wisdom, their resistance and their love for the land continue to mark the path of the Great Homeland. To honor them is to honor our roots,” he said.
