The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, confirmed this Monday that national and international teams are still deployed in areas affected by recent earthquakes to rescue people alive.

“We continue to work to rescue people alive, which fills us with emotion and hope, hope for their families, for our people, who see the tireless work of Venezuelan rescuers and international brigades,” said the president responsible during the installation of the General Staff for the creation of Transitional Camps and the Accelerated Planning of Housing Projects.

He reported that during this day another brigade arrived in the country from Vietnam and first responders from Cuba. “We continue to add up, already 30 countries are in Venezuela doing laudable work to save lives, to rescue lives and to participate and support our people in these difficult times,” he said.
