Diosdado Cabello: 200 years will pass and the people will remember Commander Hugo Chávez

During the #577 broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that 200 years will pass and the people will remember Commander Hugo Chávez.

The statement was made when the birthday of Commander Chávez was commemorated on July 28. “He was turning 72,” he recalled and affirmed that the Commander transcends time and consolidates himself as a fundamental pillar for the present and future generations of the Bolivarian Revolution.

“Chávez is a spiritual guide, a leader recognized by all of us, women and men, who embodies the fundamental values and principles of the Bolivarian Revolution of this moment,” he said.

Faced with the ridicule of political opponents, Cabello ruled that the people keep intact the memory of those who transformed the country's social reality: “Venezuela had a president named Hugo Chávez, who recognized the poor, the excluded, who was the voice of the free peoples of the world in any scenario.”
