Diosdado Cabello: 8,500 recreational players will be deployed nationwide at Carnavales

The sectoral vice-president of Public Security Policy and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the deployment of Operation Carnavales Seguros 2026, carried out from Falcón state, reported that during these holidays there will be 8,500 active recreational people.

In this regard, he recommended that parents and representatives be attentive to children, while explaining that it is the responsibility of parents and not of recreational people.

“If you take children to the beach, to the rivers, don't leave them (the children) alone. It's very sad then that a father says <><mi hijo está extraviado>, not the one who is lost is the father, the one who is lost is the father who is not fulfilling his obligation to care for the children, because the recreational people are going to be there to help, but you have to be aware of your children,” he said.

He also reported that during the holidays, the Anti-Drug Command, firefighters, the Bolivarian National Guard, Civil Protection, the Ministry of Youth, the Bolivarian National Police, the National Service of Forensic Medicine and Sciences, among other State security forces, will be deployed.
