The activation exercises of the Management Bodies for Integral Defense (ODDI), in the different states of the country, have a high patriotic and spiritual level, said the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“These exercises are charged with the deep conviction that we are doing the right thing. The message we are sending to all the people is that they join the defense of the Homeland,” he said from the state of Aragua.

In this regard, he stressed that Venezuela is experiencing a new phase in which the defense of our territory and sovereignty is the responsibility of all citizens and not exclusively of the Armed Forces. “We are in a different phase where there is a people in arms,” he said.
