Diosdado Cabello: Demolition was agreed with family members to ensure efforts to search for victims

The Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, explained that after the demolition of a building that was tilted due to the earthquakes of June 24, authorities and family members resume searching for the mortal remains of the victims that still remain under the rubble.

“In this phase, the process of searching for the bodies that are there resumes. This work was done together with the relatives and mourners who were victims of the earthquake, in which the process of searching for bodies in the remains of the building was carried out,” he said.

In this regard, he prioritized the rescue of bodies inside demolished buildings so that their families can bury or cremate the victims of the earthquakes of June 24.
