Diosdado Cabello: Dialogue does not mean giving up either way or the other

This Wednesday, August 19, Diosdado Cabello highlighted the support of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) for the dialogue initiative being developed with sectors of the opposition, but emphasized that “dialogue does not mean giving up”.

“Dialogue does not mean giving up either for one or the other. Dialogue does not mean surrender. Dialogue means that Venezuela is entering into a different dynamic,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando program, where he also expressed his desire to reach agreements depending on the country and guarantee the presence of an opposition committed to peace.

“Hopefully we have an opposition with which we can always talk and leave aside shortcuts and links with extremist and criminal groups and even drug traffickers with whom they have attacked our country,” he said, adding that “we will continue to move forward as appropriate.”
