Diosdado Cabello: If human rights have ever been respected, it is now

If at any time in the political history of Venezuela human rights have been respected, it is after the coming of the Bolivarian Revolution to power, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, Cabello pointed out that the Bolivarian Government is constantly fighting to prevent human rights violations and does not tolerate this type of action.

“In this country, if human rights have ever been respected, it is now. Every day it's an internal fight so that there are no abuses of any kind and we don't allow them,” he said.

In this regard, he criticized the fact that leaders of the Venezuelan right, such as Leopoldo López, describe themselves as defenders of human rights. “That makes those who call themselves defenders of human rights doubt,” he said.
