Diosdado Cabello reiterated the PSUV's support for the Popular Consultation and Electoral Fairs (+Popular Power)

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, recognized the participation of the People's Power during the electoral fairs for the renewal of the Community Councils.

During the usual red awning press conference, Cabello assured that this methodology is, in “truth, revolutionary”, since decisions are made on the spot and with the People's Power.

With regard to the Popular Consultation, he recalled that the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, announced that the next contest will take place in the month of October and assured that the red awning will actively participate in this new electoral appointment.

“It's one of the tasks we have given: the active participation of our party, of our people in each of these consultations.”

He also recalled that the popular consultation was scheduled for July 12, however, with regard to the double earthquake that occurred on June 24, the People's Power decided that these resources should be used to treat the victims and to the recovery of spaces affected by this event.
