In the state of La Guaira, after the earthquakes of last June 24, there was no looting or disturbance to public order, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“They (the right wing and their allied media) began to say from day one: 'Looting! ' They were setting up an opinion matrix, but there was no looting anywhere there,” he said during the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, where he also highlighted the wide deployment of security agencies in the entity.

In this regard, Cabello highlighted the supportive behavior of the Venezuelan people after the double earthquake and emphasized that “it is the size of the commitment presented to them.”

“Without prominence of any kind. Whoever is delivering meals at 2 in the morning is not waiting for a photo to be taken, they are doing it from the heart,” he emphasized.
