Diosdado Cabello: True Chavism stays in good times and bad

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that true Chavism is one that remains through thick and thin, working despite difficulties to continue consolidating the Bolivarian Revolution and bringing well-being to Village.

“ True Chavism dedicates all its time to collective work, it is the one that is there in La Guaira supporting people, wherever, there is true Chavism. It is the Chavism that stays, whether the oil is at 10 or is at 100. Whether we are, in good times or in bad times, and if it is in bad times, the faster they stay,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando No. 580 program.

He emphasized that true Chavism differs from the opposition sectors because it does not waste time in meaningless fights. “That's really ugly. Beating to death there, taking things out in public, Chavism must differentiate itself in that, true Chavism doesn't fall into that,” he said.

He also referred to the fact that the opportunists who today are trying to divide revolutionaries and call themselves Chavista are those who have tried all their lives to break the unity that Commander Hugo Chávez always called for and summoned .

“Those opportunists were always there, they have been denying Chávez since 92, they said 'this is a necessary evil' (...) Tell me those who call themselves original Chavism. Where are your certificates? Who gave them to you? Who signed them for you? Where is that? Oh, but every time they have a chance to do something to get that sick right to get in, they do it. In other words, they release all their attacks against the Revolution, but this People are so aware that they know, smell them, perceive them, know who they are,” he said.

Faced with this, he assured that “the original Chavism is the People, the one who was here for years waiting for a Hugo Chávez and when Hugo Chávez appeared, he once came out in the embraces of that People, of that Leader. That is truly the original Chavism. The hit man of a lifetime. Women, indigenous peoples, young people, the Armed Forces, that is real Chavism.”

He reaffirmed that for those opportunists who appear when things are right for them, the People end up taking their toll. “They're the ones who show up when the scabbard is easy, but when things are fucked up, not here, not here. The people take their toll on them and know how to take their toll,” he said.

Two months after the earthquake, we are still with the people

The also sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace stressed that the Bolivarian Government remains deployed to continue providing care to families affected by the double earthquake of last June 24.

“Two months later, we are like the first day with them, next to them. It's not that the thing for a videoconference, it's not that you want it, no, we 're there, together with the people, sharing in the camps with the children and doing activities every day,” he said.

He reaffirmed that not only security agencies but also youth, volunteers, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) are in the support and care of the People, as part of a large deployment to provide a comprehensive response to all affected families.

He emphasized that the national government has always been working together with the people in the reconstruction of the country, despite the vile media campaign installed by sectors of the opposition in the country in the midst of the tragedy.

“The response has been comprehensive, down to the main and fundamental thing that is human, the supportive embrace, the loving attention, with dedication to what we are doing because none of us are obliged anywhere, we do it with absolute dedication because we want to do it, not because they are forcing us to do it,” he said.

For this reason, he assured that “the secret of the popular victory of these two months of events in Venezuela has always been to speak with the truth (...) Venezuela is reborn with the truth as its flag and is reborn because this People know what they have to do, because this People are tireless and have a higher conscience (...) there is no obstacle to it”.

The media on the right are miserable

Cabello described the media as miserable as oppositional extremism, which in addition to their media campaign after the earthquakes, now insist on their attacks on Venezuela after the recent rains.

“ Why do they put in the garbage? Because they're miserable. They are not journalists, they stopped being media, they are miserable. That's the truth, real wretches,” he emphasized, stressing that these media in the news in other countries don't include politics, “but with us they do.”

He exemplified that, with the recent tragedy in Nepal, media such as NTN24, “El Nazional”, La Patilla and EVTV, were dedicated only to reviewing the natural event, while with the rains in Venezuela they do refer to the management of the Bolivarian Government.

“At no time do they talk about the Government, so they can see what the war against Venezuela is like (...) it's the difference between how they treat news. The same news; here (Venezuela) the misery, and here (Nepal) what happened,” he said.

He pointed out that this miserable media apparatus is unable to go out and say that “the passage of Tropical Wave number 40 represented, on average, 50% of the accumulated rainfall of the total of what was expected for the month of August.”

“ Half of the rain in August one day and the next day fell, equivalent to a quarter of what was expected for the month of August, that is, in two days 75% of the rains that should fall in the month of August fell,” he specified and reiterated his criticism of those who use this type of situation to attack the Government without considering figures or causes.

He reiterated that despite the fact that “the sick fascist right and the longliners” celebrate these situations, the Bolivarian Government has provided a comprehensive response to attend to those affected by the double earthquakes and the recent rains that hit the country.

Who's in charge of the opposition? What are the codes?

The revolutionary leader evidenced the anarchy and lack of leadership that exists in the sectors of the Venezuelan right, referring to the constant fighting between themselves and the most recent attack on the opposition Enrique Márquez.

“When you see that, the first question is who's in charge of the opposition? What are the codes that they have? And the conclusion of that is accompanied precisely by the fact that these fights between them want to permeate the rest of the population of Venezuela,” he said.

He questioned whether those sectors of the opposition fell on him and even considered sending Márquez to a “wall” just to make statements in keeping with the reality of the country.

“The opposing sectors didn't like that position and the orders to the Swarm were to be spun to pieces without compassion of any kind (...) I'm not defending Enrique Márquez at all (...) But fools, I think, are those who want to ignore the Communal Councils and the Communes (...) they are a reality based on the ground, ” he said .

On the other hand, Cabello revealed how these sectors of the extreme right operate, noting that Carlos Ocariz, in order to “be on good terms with the Bolivarian Government, handed over Juan Caguaripano”.

“Caguaripano was handed over by Ocariz and then he said that he had been forced (...) He did it to look good and win some points. A lie, they didn't force him! He gladly delivered it,” he revealed.

The also Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace reaffirmed that the Gilberto Rodríguez Ochoa Children's Cardiological Hospital, inaugurated by Commander Hugo Chávez, is one of the best in the world.

“The best children's cardiology hospital in the world is here in Venezuela with Venezuelan doctors, Venezuelan doctors, Venezuelan nurses, who treat them and take care of them,” he said.
