Earthquake of magnitude 6.0 was recorded in El Salvador

The Press Secretariat of the Presidency of El Salvador reported that a magnitude 6.0 earthquake was recorded this Saturday off the coast of the department of Ahuachapán, in the western part of the Central American country.
“Final data of the earthquake recorded at 3:14am (9:14 GMT): Magnitude 6.0, with a depth of 20 kilometers,” said the statement on the social network X.
In addition, the secretariat reported another earthquake of magnitude 4.2 in the same area hours later.
So far, no casualties or material damage have been reported, Sputnik reports.
