Helloooo... my friend furrileaño. Brother! Venezuelan extremism, led by María “La Chick-Flada” Machado, is definitely collapsing. They have tried to “make an aura” but all the narratives have run out: they have recycled so much smoke during these months that, at this point, and despite all their “erudite advisors”, they seem to have definitely run out of cards up their sleeves.

And that, in particular, has “La Chick-Flada” in checkmate and scratching the walls, desperately trying to find a new formula to sustain a story that is less and less convincing and that begins to show, without too much makeup, what we have always said: they were isolated, without room for maneuver and, even worse, without real capacity for action.

Peroooo... before continuing. Diosdado, make one thing clear to me! Why is your friend, my friend, everyone's friend, now with a jumping complex around Valencia? Look out there they say it's the city of sweet oranges, that smells strange, very strange.

Anyway, let's do our thing.

Brother! Since last week, when we announced that we had infiltrated the “La Chick-Flada” teams, the paranoia that exists inland seems to have reached championship levels. What you can breathe in these groups is no longer exactly tranquility: it's nervousness, distrust and an almost religious obsession to control every last trace of conversations.

They have done everything. In the messaging groups, they removed members they considered suspicious, created new subgroups, restricted spaces and even activated the automatic deletion of messages, as if deleting the chat could also delete what is said there. A kind of digital “nothing happened here”.

And no matter how many padlocks they put, no matter how many groups they close and no matter how many messages automatically disappear, it seems that they don't stop hitting the nail on the head. Because there's always someone left watching. And, apparently, someone counting.

My cooperating patriot, alias “Bachaco”, an old friend from my single years who is still in the maricorinato, confessed to me something that is quite revealing: “La Chick-Flada” ended up trapped in its own web of lies. Brother, when your own people begin to recognize that the speech has become entangled, it's because things must be quite complicated.

According to “Bachaco”, the lady issued instructions to stop all kinds of campaigns, both through official channels and from those dirty war laboratories that, until recently, were quite busy selling the idea that their return would be “imminent”.

The reason?

According to “Bachaco” tells me, the issue would have to do with the results of some Focus Groups that the Chick-Flada team ordered to do. Brother, with this type of tool you cannot create the parallel universe, there it comes out what it is and according to Bachaco the result was so negative for María Corina, that she immediately ordered everything to stop to reevaluate the strategy. Remember that, unlike window surveys and the numbers conveniently selected to feed social networks, Focus Groups are not published, not tweeted, much less converted into propaganda.

God, no one shuts down a propaganda machine when they are convinced that things are going extraordinarily well. Quite the opposite.

When the numbers are favorable, they are printed, published, multiplied, made headlines and thrown out the windows to show the world that “we are winning”. But when they suddenly tell you to lower the volume, to close groups, to delete messages and to stop campaigns, then you start to wonder what appeared in those numbers that should not go out on the street?

But the story doesn't end there. “Bachaco” gave me another detail that helps me to understand quite well the level of madness that would be reigning inland: “La Chick-Flada” is going through a kind of compulsive paranoia, the kind that turns any conversation into a potential conspiracy and any disagreement into a declaration of war.

As he tells me, between the accumulated frustration, the rejection of several heavyweights and his industrial cigarette smoker, “La Chick-Flada” has turned its environment into a kind of minefield. In recent days, he has been involved in a series of discussions that are putting to the test — and quite seriously — the patience of those who are still part of his circle of trust.

“Bachaco” assures me that at this point there are few who can withstand such a level of tension. “The Chick-Flada” would be completely overwhelmed, reacting with a mixture of frustration, paranoia and bad mood that is already difficult to disguise. And the thing is that when the pressure is tightening, the allies move away and the ashtray seems to work overtime, the problem ceases to be the lack of control: it is that control simply seems to have gone out the door.

TALKING ABOUT FAILURES

Goddess! Precisely at this stage of frustration, desperation and obvious wear and tear that the different factions of Venezuelan extremism seem to have entered, a tiny platoon of pseudo-journalists from the Maricorinato still survives, determined to continue selling fantasies. They don't learn.

For weeks now, they have been trying to make that much needed postcard for days: the streets burning. To this end, they have used the same old recipes: prefabricated tension, provocations, confrontation and a carefully spiced narrative to turn any minor incident into a supposed battle for freedom.

But here comes the pearl, Diosdado.

What happened this Monday in front of the Ministry of Interior and Justice was not exactly a spontaneous explosion of popular indignation. Since Saturday, they had been making efforts to mobilize people, fill the stage and prevent the call from showing its true size, but even with that they did not succeed.

The result was far less epic than what they needed to sell: microscopic assistance, the kind that forces the photographer to become magicians to play with angles. Because when there is no crowd, there is always the frame; when there is no force, there is always the story.

And that's where the “brilliant strategists” of NGOs and their media companions come in. Faced with the inability to call for a significant mobilization, the alternative would have been to seek the conflict that the call could not produce on its own.

All of this, of course, is part of an old script of political turmoil that needs constant fuel. And since in these shows there is never a lack of budget for the scenography, the respective bonus also appears to pay for the show, move the same four operators and feed narratives.

WHAT'S COMING
My friend furrileaño. Another little friend of mine, one of those who are enjoying a well-deserved vacation in Spain, took advantage of the tour to meet with several examples of that Venezuelan political fauna that proclaims to be “exiled”.

According to me, a new attempt to put pressure on the dialogue team that makes up the committee of former deputies of AN-2015 would already be under way on these grounds. The idea is to apply pressure, move chips and try to torpedo any progress that does not go through the approval of those who have been administering, by their own decree, the title of “legitimate opposition” for years from the comfort of exile.

And the thing seems to go a little further. So much so that some of those who in the past considered themselves the “fourth power” would already be proposing a rather peculiar strategy: to minimize, blur or downplay any progress or achievement that the technical tables may soon achieve.

My friend tells me that the real fear of these characters is to be left out of the picture of the new Venezuelan political reality. And here it is worth remembering something: for years, many of them seemed to find in the crisis not an opportunity to seek solutions, but an extraordinary opportunity to do business, manage resources and fatten their pockets while the country bled to death.

Now that the stage starts to move, panic sets in. Because it is one thing to proclaim oneself indispensable from exile and quite another to discover that the country can move forward without asking them for permission.

REMEMBER THAT I AM YOUR FRIEND FINO FITNEES AND IMPORTANT. CHANGE AND OUT.
